This posted section will always appear first.   It should be the first entry read by Post 382 and affiliated members for updates on meetings and events in addition to other information of importance.

       Post Executive Committee Meeting -  Tuesday, April 10 beginning at 6:00 p.m.  All officers should plan to attend.
       Post Membership Meeting - Tuesday, April 10 beginning at 7:00 p.m.  All Post members are encouraged to attend.  This will be the last meeting where nominations can be made for 2018-2019 officers.
       Post Membership Dues - If you have not yet paid your 2018 membership dues, there's not much time left to do so.  For information contact the Post Adjutant Bill Livesay.
       Post Color Guard Volunteers - We are seeking a few good men and women, members of the Post, Auxiliary or S.A.L. to serve on the newly formed Color Guard Unit.  The Guard will participate in parades and special events.  For more information contact Sergeant of the Guard Eric Smallwood.
       Lounge Bartenders Wanted - Hey members of the Post, Auxiliary and S.A.L., we need some volunteers to tend bar in the Post lounge.  Are you interested?  Contact Gary Reichle, Bar Committee Chairman.

April 2018 Message (Rev. David Gillis, Post Chaplain) Understanding Our Dual-Citizenship The events surrounding the holiday we know as Easter and with it the season of Spring always brings with it a refreshing invitation to new beginnings.  As Legionnaires we are also approaching a new membership year, a new beginning, and closer to our 100 th anniversary as the nation’s oldest and largest veterans’ organizations, yet another new beginning.   We have so much to look forward to and so very much to be thankful for.   Possibly as we’re exploring new beginnings it is an ideal time for us as Legionnaires to renew our vision as to who we are and why we maintain membership in this organization.  That shouldn’t be too difficult since we begin our membership meetings with a commitment to God and country that we associate ourselves together for ten specific purposes.  Here we are identifying ourselves as dual citizens – one is of God’s kingdom and the other ...
